HANOI ROCKS: Tour With L.A. GUNS Was Never Officially Confirmed
September 17, 2007Finnish rock 'n' roll legends HANOI ROCKS have issued the following statement:
"As far as the prematurely advertised tour with the L.A GUNS [and VIXEN] is concerned, it was never officially approved by HANOI ROCKS. It was only at a negotiation stage and no contracts were ever issued. Otherwise HANOI ROCKS would have been more than ready to do it."
According to L.A. GUNS frontman Phil Lewis, the tour, which was scheduled to take place in November, will now likely take place in early 2008.
Demolition Records has released a HANOI ROCKS special-edition digipack of the band's new CD "Street Poetry" featuring four bonus tracks: "Trouble Boys", "Fashion" (video),"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (video),"High School" (video).

HANOI ROCKS performed its new song "Fashion" on the Swedish entertainment show "Sommarkrysset" on TV4 on August 18. Watch the performance below.
The "Fashion" single was released on May 16 in Europe and June 21 in Japan. It also includes HANOI ROCKS' version of the BILLY BREMNER hit "Trouble Boys" (which will not be on the forthcoming album),the promo video for "Fashion" plus a live video, "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams", from HANOI's gig at Nosturi in Helsinki this past March. promotional video for "Fashion" was directed by Kusti and Jaakko Manninen.
